I have a flying wing like the zagi, and wanted to convert it to canard. Does anyone know of any good web sight that contain info on design, CG, area of canard in relation to main wing.BTW the wing is a proven design that i have flown many times. I thought that the wing planform was neat and would make a good canard. Thanks for any help.

Dont know of any books tha t cover this area, but why not take an empirical approach and make a chuckie the sort of shap you want then play around with the foreplane area and CofG until you get what you want

That is what i will probly do the cg of the flying wing is a bout 15% of the MAC now and since the canard will be for pitch control only and not so much as part of the flying surfacei will start by moving the cg up to about5 or 10% and start with some glide test.
