Hi can anyone point me to a Reversible brushless ESC.
I would prefer to purchase as my building of electronics is limited.
I have searched the forum but a Reversible one. Do they exist ??.

Check the RC Car ESC's.

There's a few out there...

If you set up a "model railroader's "X-=" switch you could operate that with a servo to give the ability to reverse a motor using any brushless ESC.

There are a few lower cost ESC's which can be programmed for either direction rotation, but can't be reversed without shutting down and going through the sequence (which indicates to me... they could do a software update and make them programmable to operate as reverseable)

Note... if this is for an aircraft, you would be better with a variable pitch prop to reverse than reversing the motor. Reversing a prop too suddenly can shear the motor shaft or strip gears (if using a gearbox) the car gearboxes are stronger and the wheels tend to slide out rather than causing mechanical damage to the drive line.

Hi
The Esc are for RoV use and need to operate the same as Brushed motors giving variable speed forward and reverse.
This is a previous post http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=580267

To use a variable pitch prop system would be difficult as it is bad enough at the moment to seal the shaft and wires etc.
I will be using 3 motors in the RoV.

I am using brushed motors atm inside the RoV hull (Dry) with a modified aerial radio control link down to the RoV.

I want to use the brushless motors outside (Wet). This avoids sealing the prop shafts and only leaves me the wires.

Like he said... look for a brushless boat or car ESC... the schulze future series comes to mind (pricey but they'll probably do what you need).

Castle Creations has a Mamba brushless unit for cars that is reversable.
