Anyone know of an airspeed indicator that could record peak in a model? Could be a mechanical devise that has something like pith balls that rise and stay or a bug that stays at high, or an electronic devise? Seems that this would be pretty useful and accurate way to determine speed of a model.

Same question for recording Gs. Mechanical or elecrtonis accelerometer?

Thx.

Seems almost like a drinking straw, slurpie long, or clear plastic or thick McDonald Thick shake straw with a pith ball inside with some fine stable spring to teather it would work. Just make it, and calibrate it. I have a fairly accurate velocity meter can calibrate it with. any ideas on a spring to use to teather pith ball?

If you're handy with electronics and have some $ to spare, try getting a Analog Devices ADXL210 2-axis, 10G accelerometer (if you think your model will pull that many G's :) )
