Paint Question

Hi All!
I want to vacum bag my DLG wing. but never done it this way. I have always used the "Press" way and this time I want to try something different.
I want to paint the wing before the process and to take it out with with the paint out of the vacum.
What is the best way to do that?

Most builders don't paint their DLGs in an attempt to save every last gram. However, in Phils video he shows the painting of a 3M wing. He simply paints the mylars with Krylon spray paint after waxing and lets them dry thoroughly. Then do the layup as usual. When the wing has cured and you peel off the mylars, the paint stays on the wing. I've done it on a 2M wing I VB'd and it looked great.

Best paint I've used for bagging or painting molds is Klasskote. www.klasskote.com. You can put on a pretty light layer of paint if some transparency is OK.
