Third Channel????

Hi. I have a tunnel hull boat with a k and b outboard .21 I keep hearing about using a third channel for either carb needle adjustment or power trimming the boat. I have tried to go to various online hobby shops but I have been unable to find anything. Where can I find out more info and possible buy these things. Also is it possible to do both a power trim and a needle adjuster making it I guess a 4 channel boat? (I also posted in the internal cumbustion section)

from what I can figure out from the manual that came with my 3ch rig the 3rd channel on mine is a)kinda like an all or nothing(you could have the trim with 2 settings 1 for low speed and one for high speed) or b) mixed with another channel... Isupose one could mix it with throttle and very the trim as one uses the thottle. seemed too complicated for my tastes/needs so am very carefully leaving it alone. guess the answer in part is in the radio manual for a 3 channel radio.
