Does anyone know if Aerofly Pro Deluxe will work in Windows Vista Beta/Release Candidate?
What about any other simulator softwares?

Great Q! I wonder how many sim writers will have ot rewrite code to have it workunder Vista. FWIW> both OpenAL and GL (the latter my be hobbled mind you...) work in Vista so Clearview should work.

I have tried with no luck: AFPD complained that OpenGL libraries weren't found. This means that nVidia drivers aren't completed, it's too early to test any simulators...

Too bad the sims can't be packaged with an operating system so that they would operate on any PC or compatible without the need for a specific OS. Something like OGL under Linux comes to mind, maybe running from a CD like a lot of Linux distros do.

Running from a CD would be crazy unless you had gigs and gigs of very fast RAM.
GOod on Stefan that it runs on Vista already. :)

All the sim programs are loaded into memory anyway whether from a hard drive or a CD. Hard drives are much too slow for progam operation.
