Hi, I just signed up for the full version of profili and am having some fun comparing polars and such. It seem to me that I saw somewhere that I could draw polars with different flap deflections as well as alpha angles. Could someone steer me to the correct button, please?
Much thanks,
Marlan

One way:
Go to "airfoils management" and select your desired airfoil.
Then click "process" -> "xfoil airfoil processing" -> "add flap deflection"

Have fun...

Open the Airfoils management. Click Polars tab/Drawing Polars:Free Criteria-Advanced (Type 4)

O.K. I found a direct "button" link that's even better.
On the tool bar there is a series of 4 buttons for drawing polars. Push the 4th from the left and it gives you "type 4, advanced users", and 8 lines to do "comparison shopping". Complete one and then at the top of the window you can choose to duplicate or cancel various data lines from the first one into or out of all the rest of them to speed things up. When you are set with all your foils to compare, push the "draw" button and head for the fridge.

P.S. Now I need to learn how to "save" my works of art.
