What Graphic cards work well with G3? How much did it cost?

Well, I did some research. ATI Radeon 8900 350 dollars, or, NvidiaGeforce 6800, about 280 dollars. The G3 is 200 dollars, plus add-ons x 6.. To be able to work like the Hobby store display would be about 630 dollars. WAY too much for a simulator in my opinion.

I got a radeon 9200 for $120 at radio shack and i use FMS. Something is better than nothing.

I don't know about G3, but I can make my G2 run very lean by stripping away all the eye candy. It runs at full speed with a very low performance video card.

I need a PCI card, and all the cards I have came across are either AGP or PCI-E. DO they still make PCI video cards. Which pci video card will work for G3? I have searched and searched and its all agp and pci-e cards.

Powercolor, eVGA, BFG, Matrox, and ASUS still make PCI cards. Frankly if you have no AGP slot I suspect your machine will not run G3 well. Time to ask Santa for a new motherboard.
