G3 flat spin?

I'm just learning how to flat spin and I'm using G3 to do it. The spins I'm doing look a heck of a lot slower then what I see some of the guys doing at the field (regardless of plane some spin faster then others). I wanted to practice on G3 for a month or so before I tried it on any of my planes. Does G3 do a good job at truly representing a true flat spin and does it spin fast or do I need some work on my stick skill ?

Depends ont he model you are using. I find it hard to flat spin some of the stock models but then some of the custom models that are offered on the Knifeedge.com forums are much better at doing these type things on. I find my fave to be the PattyWagstaff that FlyGuy did. There are a few others that do it nicely also.

But I think it has to do with how the aircraft is edited such as were the weight is placed ont he aircraft.

Flat spin in G3 is way slow compared to the real thing in my opinion.
