I have designed a GroundStation Software (decoder of AX25 frame, trajectory, GPS data...) for XP using the sound card or the serial port.
If you are interested go to ecodrone.free.fr.
I often update this software so feel free to send me any ideas.

NICE Courdeta !!!

I have always wanted to do this. I have an extra sound channel on my UAV that has never been used for anything... Your page and all the information it gives is great.

One suggestion, you should do away with the old style airplane instruments. They are outdated and ergonomically unfriendly. They were designed with the days that insturments had to conform to the limitations of mechanical dials.

The picture below has a modern flight display. Yours will not have all that data, but the basic format is the best for flying. It would make a great improvement to your program.

Thanks for posting, I will try it !

good job,

you can also try OpenGL interface.

We do that and take some pictures from flight sim.
But the result is not as expected for the moment, there is a lot of work before having a complete interface (but everything you see on the picture is now valid and work properly).
