Looking for corrosionX and locktite 480. Seems it is talked about and used in the U.S., I am trying to find a vendor that sells them in Canada.

Don: I'll definitely head out there this weekend - I'll set you up with some of the CX then.

That would be great Brad. Either day is good for me, forcast says an Sunday is good for building and flying, and Saturday has 90% chance of rain, build day only....maybe the corrosion X will change that!

Just for anyone else who comes across this thread, it is Corrosion Block, not CorrosionX that they carry. Same idea, just a different brand and more expensive. I lucked out and Arx_n_Sparx dropped off some CorrosionX, so I'm good for that now, thanks Brad.

No probs, Don. I originally did the split on a 16 oz. bottle with Corey/The Enemy of the Corrosion X. He found it a marine supply place in Orangeville about a year ago - you'd have to ask him the name of the place. We got the refill for a pump spray of the stuff - it's a lot easier to dunk something in this than it is to try to spray it with an aerosol can.
Don is the third guy I've done the "swap shop" thing with - it's a great way to get those items that are better to split on. RC is a tru brotherhood if ya look... :D

We in the East have also been looking for Corrison X as a waterproofer for lake flying. I had water get into a rudder servo this summer and everyone had to hit the deck as the Pondside started doing it's own thing and wound up in a tree.
So any info is appreciated on exactly where to locate this marvelous medium..!
Does Pinnacle Hobby in Markham have a website?
thanks,
Bill

I recommend the 16 oz trigger spray bottle - that way you can open it up and just dunk your stuff, then put the cap back on when you're done.
