Does anyone around here have connections to JPL or NASA? I read about a ridiculously light carbon mesh (.1 g for an 8.5"x11" piece) that just about floats in air. Said sheet was also supposedly stiff enough to remain relatively flat even when picked up by one corner. That stuff seems like it would be awesome for indoor aircraft of all sorts. I can think of plenty of uses... :) I haven't seen any articles on it since 2000.

Wow, this is old; I found a few articles on that material, but none mention how to get some. I want this stuff SO bad, it's perfect for my indoor aircraft uses. Uh oh, here comes a black Suburban....

I found most of those; I'm mainly interested in getting a hold of this material, versus just reading articles on it. though obtaining it seems more and more unlikely. Thanks for your help anyways.
