Remember my good friend Mr. Joe Ashida ( 蘆田 穰 樣 ) forever

I feel sad to inform you this bad news: My good friend Mr. Joe Ashida will pass away soon. :(

He found that he was affected by a very bad cancer at mid July, 2006. Doctors estimated that he has only 3 months to live. :eek:

He returned to Japan back to home town on last thursday. That's why I come back to Taiwan earlier this time.

He lost 30 LBs during the past 45 days, .. :o

Although he is a Japanese, but he was my family's best friend. I knew him since late 1970's.

He came to stay in Taiwan with GWS since 10 years ago. He was living with my family together for five years. My kids enjoyed their good time with uncle Joe... :)

Untill 5 years ago, that he started a new company with his friend.

I feel very sad at this few days. Tried my best to find better Doctors... but all of them said the same result. :(

Wish my next trip to Japan at mid Oct. still able to see him again before he pass away.

Just call Ashida san last weekend.

He is staying in the hospital. I can feel his voice getting weaker than before. :o

I am very worry about him.

RCMart Mr. Ashia was found that he affected by cancer at the end of July,
近2個多月以來往返台,日就醫但仍無法治癒的情況下,於10月3日上午
During the last 2 months back and forward between Taiwan and Japan for medications, he had passed away on Oct. 3rd morning at 10:02AM 10時02分病逝於日本岡山濟生會總合病院,神態安詳,享年60歲.
in Okayama Zesei Hospital. At his age of 60.

我等 將繼續秉持著 芦田 穰 先生 生前的遺志,將陽星公司繼續運作
We will keep going on Mr. Ashida's wish, continiously run RC Mart.
並發揚光大,懇請 2 位業界先進提攜後輩, 不吝賜教.

It's always difficult to accept a loss of those who have touched our hearts, but they live forever inside and all around us. I'm sure your friend helped a lot of people and made many happy and fulfilled his duty as being a good man.
