I started a thread under Sailplane Events where you can post comments and experiences about your attempts in doing the tasks.
Just to let you know, I went out to give it a try and the air was so bad that a 5 min flight was an achievement. It won't be as easy as a real contest most of the time. I've been to contests where the best flights in a round were 3 min. I also added a second task that is a bit more interesting. Most contests start out with a lesser time and work up to a time that is based on condiditons. Many contests I've been to have a 7 min max time the whole contest with many 3 min flights. I would like to see some of the "experts" who have commented on things try this.
