The 4 in 1 went crazy one day for no reason, no major crash or short!

The servos jitter when the radio is couple feet away from it.

When the Tx is right next to the 4 in 1 with fully extended antenna (both Tx and Rx). The 4 in 1 works good, what cause the very short range?

Any easy way to re-tune the 4 in 1 unit?

Note: The Tx, both Tx and Rx crystals are OK, I test in a good 4-in-1 and can control over 200 feet.

I dont think its a matter of tuning,
that typically wont drift unless
somebody re tunes. Check for loose
connections, make sure the antenna
is in tact, about all you can do for it!
Some times you can be too close & swamp(overload) it.

The outboard pin of the crystal connector looks a little spread, but it could just be the photograph.

Take a look at the ceramic filter too!

Looks like it is not easy to re-tune the Rx, I tried to turn the coil a little with no luck!

Anyone knows how to tap into the ch#3 & #4 input signal? Then I can use a regular 4ch Rx. Thanks.

There is very little TO tune..even teh coil uou have is very lazy in its effect.

Loss of range is nearly always somethiing broken. Its hard to predict what though..could be antenna wire, could be a dry joint..could be anywhere..
