Anyone know if a lead is available for the Futaba 14MZ yet??

My G3 is the one with the TX if that makes a difference.

Thanks all.

The 14MZ has a different trainer port than radios like the 9C? It
wasn't that long ago that Futaba changed the trainer port -- are you
saying they changed it again?

Looking at http://www.14mz.com/accessories/index.html, it looks like
the 14MZ still uses the new (`standard') Futaba micro trainer cord.
So FUTM4415 is probably all you need.

For G2 you you get a version with a full transmitter or one with an
interface to your transmitter, and then the Interlink version came out
that works like a transmitter, OR you could plug your real TX into it
via the training port.

As far as I know, G3 only comes with the Interlink controller.

Nope, you can get adapters to use your transmitter with the G3. Don't know
if the 14MZ is compatible but I don't see why it wouldn't be. I've never
tried this with my G3. The Interlink controller works just fine.

Yes, but they connect your TX to the G3 Interlink controller.

Certainly, Tower Hobbies doesn't seem to sell any version of RFG3 that
does not come with the Interlink controller.

It also seems to come with adapters for most TX types. Mine did, but
I got mine used, and so I wasn't sure if that was added by the guy I
bought it from or it came that way.

Agreed.

Right, but it's pretty basic. That little knob is pretty useless --
I'd prefer a slider like my 9c has. I've also heard some complaints
about the gimbals, but they seem fine to me.

You're absolutely right. I'd forgotten about that. My G3 did come with a
set of adaptors but I've never tried to use any of them.
