I hope this is not off-topic for this forum.
While on the field last week a club member showed me a 12v starter he had inherited recently. Its light, very powerful using a reduction gearbox, is rechargeable, and very easy to hold and use.
Its particularitly useful for re-starts on the runway if an engine cuts.
One charge seems to last for weeks.
Question is we can't identify the product manufacturer, or where it can be purchased, or locate any similar products. Any ideas?
There are absolutely no marking on the unit to advise of the manufacturer.
I've attached two pictures of the unit (and yes, thats my Aerial Photography MovieStar in the background...)
thanks,
