I have this neet little case for one of my cameras that allow me to take pics underwater. The camera is a Cannon PowerShot A620 and the case is a Cannon WP-DC90. I attempted to get some pics of my boat underwater while at the lake today but the water was just too murky to get good pics. I did get a couple to show you tho.

That is neat! I would like to have an underwater housing for my camera, but it costs more than the camera did!

If you want to take pictures that are 'just under' the surface of the water, you could use a fish aqarium tank. ;)

Canon and Sony make nice enclosures for their Point and shoot, and camcorder lines. I have a Sony, and love it.

Olympus makes (expensive) enclosures for their SLR Cameras.

A cheaper solution is EWA Marine - http://www.ewa-marine.com/english/index.htm They make soft enclosures for all sorts of cameras.

Even cheaper is to make your own - http://web.media.mit.edu/~tim/pix/waterproofcamera.html

I have invested alot of money in my cameras and I just cant see taking $1000 in camera and lenses in the water no matter how good the baggie is. That is why the cheaper camera with the hard case. If I knew I would get my camera replaced free if something bad happens then I dont think I would hesitate.

I know this might sound cheap and nasty but have you thought about an underwater disposable?? I took one to Fiji earlier in the year and it worked a treat. They cost about 20 bucks Australian and when you get it developed, just get the pictures developed straight on to a cd. I have attached a couple of shots, these are untouched as I got them and it was an overcast day at that. They are good to a depth of about 30feet.

Here you go, I found a link.
They are sold/made by Kodak so they are reasonable quality and you should be able to get them anywhere.
