Last month, I posted this problem:

When I put my plane into a moderate bank, the low wing yaws backward; the high wing follows in a roll as the yaw continues; then the tail follows in the roll and yaw as the plane goes into an inverted dive.

How can I correct this problem? My my efforts at trimming have not worked.

My wing is polyhedral with four wing panels. I was advised to twist the outer-halves of the inner wing panels.
With electric iron in hand, I applied quite a bit of upward twist to the panels. However, this increased the TE angle by only a degree or two.

I flew the plane and am happy to report that the problem has been solved.

Heartfelt thanks again for the advice.

For most sailplanes a 1 deg washout twist is all that is required.
