There is a separate subforum for flight simulators.
I just bought a 2 stick gamepad for using with FMS. Works great. Did you go into the controls menu > analog control > select joystick interface and map your controls?

First thing I noticed is it needs to be calibrated first in FMS on the same window that shows the numbers. Hit calibration on the right side and move the sticks, buttons, whatever the controller has, around. You will then see the vertical bars on the right move after the calibration. That way, you can move the left stick up and down, note the number of the bar that moves, and set that number for throttle. Do the same with the other sticks. Main point here is, I think it must be calibrated first in FMS before you see the bars move when moving the sticks.
One other thing, I don't know if this is the same for your controller. But, I have a button to change the controls from digital (the buttons) to analog (the sticks). If yours is the same, make sure it is set to analog. My sticks won't work when digital is selected, but the buttons do with analog selected.
Hope this helps.
