Is anyone able to run clearview on PIII 733 successfully? I have a PIII 733MHz and of thinking of getting a new video card that supports openGL ... not sure if PIII 733 is fast enough.
Also, will a 64MB ATI Radeon 9000 card good enough? Or should I look for 128Mb ATI Radeon 9250?
Thanks,
Rudy

On Pentium III 860Mhz , 256 mb ram, NVidia Ge Force 2 MX / MX400 with 16 mb ram ClearView loaded and is working with 30 rames per second.
But, the load time is 7 minutes !!!
I think if you have 500 mb ram and cheap NVidia/ATI video card with 128mb ram ClearView will load for 1-2 minutes and will be playable with above 50 fps for almost all models.
The best is to try the demo and see for yourself.

I read the post again and I would say IF you have 500 mb memory and get ATI 9600 or comparable you will have chance of reasonable FPS so you can fly comfortably. Any lower than that will subject you on long load times and slow frame rate.
In no way I can guarantee CV will run well, so please use this post just as one more data point before you make a decision.

Thanks Stefan, I will repost in miniHeli, and ask for people's opinion about the video card.
