Steam launch plans?

Hi all, I' lookin for help with finding some plans. I have a build request from my dear Mother for an African Queen. I cant afford the Billings kit so it's gonna have to be a scratch build, (which I would rather do anyway).
I figured a short search on Google would come up with some plans for a steam launch design that would be suitable for the task but really had no luck. Does anyone have plans for a launch that would fit the bill? I'm not lookin for freebies, I am willing to pay for them. Thanks for any help folks.

They may have what you are looking for. Years back in Boat Modeller magazine ( I think It was) had plans for a steam launch. I may have plans for it still. If all else fails let me know and I will start a search for them.

Since it is for your mother, are you building it to run, or is it for display only? Just curious.

Thanks for the help so far guys, it's appreciated. PJ...she wants it to be RC so she can run it on her pond in the backyard. Just hope she dont whizz off any of the catfish or Koi with it... :)

Thanks for the link to the African Queen on ebay, patmat. I won the auction for it. :) When it arrives I may do a build thread on it if my webcam cooperates by taking decent pictures of the build.
