I want to know if I can run realflight, fsone, reflex xtr, afpd, etc... with a useable framerate of 30+ fps with a gf fx5200. I've read its supported on number of supported cards lists from the various vendors, although, the demos I've tried had framerates just under 30 and would ratchet the view around a bit. I suspect in sim not demo mode it'd be worse. Anyone using this card successfully in any of them please let me know and if so how much have you dialed back the settings? I'm guessing this card might be barely to unuseable for most of them although most claim support its one of the slowest cards on their lists.

The 5200 was a nice try to please the budget system market. Not the most suitable card but it usually works with major sims although on the lowest possbile level. "IT WORKS" in all cases is a judement with tons of exemptions: I have a notebook here with a 1500 mHz P4 Mobile with a 64 MB 5200 and "it works" at 1024x768x32 medium panorama resolution, 30 FPS constant. It won't work on the generic resolution of 1600x1200x32. I'm getting everything between 10 to 30. If you have a 1200 MHz P4, a rotten old bios that doesn't support AGP +4x, I would estimate that the 5200 will show 12-15 only. A miniMac won't works with any of the mainstream sims as the Intel 950 video proc with shared memory has to do a lot of stuff software accelerated. The intel 950 doesn't comply with DirectX 8.1 or later in all respects on a harware acceleration.
