Usb joystick dongles messed up 2 of my machines. I just had issues with my mac mini trying to get a transmitter trainer cord to usb/hid/joystick jack working. This is the second time I've noticed issues with usb (using 2 different devices that were usb/hid/joystick based). I got the mini working again by pulling the watch battery on the mobo. The last machine that got hosed was unfixable and that was a usb->ps2 adapter. Anyone else experience problems with usb devices messing up their machine?

Nope - have used seveal home built USB joystick interfaces, several commercial (Reflex and AFPD) sim controllers, and various other USB devices (cameras, and MP3 players) over time and never experienced any issues.
