I have an older Futaba Conquest radio with 3 servos using the G connector (exposed pins) . I would like to convert the connections for the servos to the current J connectors. What is the best and or easiest way to accomplish this. 1) Buy J connectors with wire attached and solder servo and connector wires together or 2) Purchase J connector and replace the G connector.
Any help is appreciated.

Buy J connectors with wire attached and solder servo and connector wires together. Just use shrink tubing over the solder joints. I've done this many times.

Dymond has adapters to so what you want, http://www.rc-dymond.com/index.php?categoryID=36
Towards that bottom of the page there are 2 inch long G to J adapters for $2.50

You will be better off taking Captkaos's suggestion as an extension just makes one more connection point to give you problems and high impedance although either will work if proper care is taken.
