is there a way to change the graphics in clearview?
the physics seem good but, it is very pixelated.
so much in fact that i cant really see the model properly when it is a little way away
i would like to turn up the resolution considerably, and/or some antialiasing
i have plenty of hardware acceleration, as i am running at 75 fps and it doesnt drop EVER in clearview
seems like an ok sim otherwise, but graphics settings, shoudl be standard like in any other program

ClearView runs on your decktop with your normal decktop resolution. Just switch the decktop to the higher resolution by right clicking on empty area of the decktop and then select Properties", then "Settings".
On ATI card, set the antialiasing to 4 or 6 and models will look absolutelly smooth. I have been told that for some NVidia cards, the antialiasing may crash ClearView but you can try - your mileage may vary.

ok
it is a bit of a pain to change my desktop res every time, but it is not that bad
so you mean the AA where it would usually be to "application controlled" and force aa?

it should be force aa. On ATI cards allways works, and on Nvidia cards one must try (in some cases CV fails whent force aa is on).

For Nvidia I can say that if you want you can also force AA for every single application:
You define a profilename in the quality management and refer it to the exe of your application. Then you can make all quality settings that you want specialy for this app. They will only be used if this specified ....exe is in use. (clearview.exe or whatever...)
This is no big affair, it is a quite self-explaining in nvidia driver-panel.
Sadly I think you can't do that with the resolution for every app.

Yeah, I keep my resolution to 1024x768x32 If your useing LCD, I would recomend 1280x1024x32 It looks great! None of my sims are pixelated until I go below 1024x768

My PC has an ATI 9250 256Mb graphics card driving a Sharp 17" LCD (circa 4 year old) at 1024 x 768 x 32bit colour and I don't experience any pixelation issue with XTR or AFPD. Maybe running lower resolutions on larger monitors (19" - 21") gives this pixelation effect, or its down to your monitor ?
