I was just going through my photos from the iHobby Expo last October here in L.A. I ran across the pictures I took of these boats I was drooling all over.

A timeless classic. This type of boat - model or full-size - will turn heads 50 years from now.

jeepers, the italian aquarama has a similar aura about it. there is something about wooden speed boats, the modern all white sunseeker types wont have that same aire about them in 50 years, there all too clinical on the outside

Yes, the Monaco is closely patterned after Riva's Ariston; Riva also made the Aquarama.

Yep just add 14 Cells(if you have a Monaco) your steering servo and receiver and ESC also. Stick your windscreen on.Lube up the rudder and prop shafts and fit a engine cooling system and thats it!
That Monaco looks strangely familar

Anyone interested in the Monaco pictured in post #2 above?
It's got popped planks, and will be offered w/o motor or electronics. Not free, but the next stop is ebay...
