Here I have a 47" shelley foss built off the Dumas semi-kit. I am selling this thing because I have lost the time and didnt really have the money to complete it. So I am selling it so it doesnt gather dust. This thing is already half completed. This boat was originally intended to have a working fire monitor, working lights, sound effects, and rotateing radar antenna . But I dont have the money or the time to complete it. I have done sea trials with this boat before and it worked great.

This hull is divided into watertight compartments separated by bulkheads and wasted space filled with expanding inslulation foam to prevent sinking should it spring a leak and to fill wasted space. The very forward section is full of foam. The mid section has the motors and electronics and etc., the section behind that is full of foam, and the very aft section houses the steerable kort nozzle tiller arms and rudder servo.

It has forward, reverse, and steering. Also for the speed controller I used a twin motor robotics speed controller and it also has the ability to reverse on prop and go ahead on the other to rotate on it's own axis. This can be acheived with the left hand stick.

This boat includes a modified six channel radio control system. I modified the transmitter with a push button (for the horn sound effect). The push button is on the channel which is the forward and backward movement of the left gimble so that is why I used a "gate" to make it move in only one direction.

Most of the radio electronics have already been installed and wired.

This boat comes with a dual motor robot speed controller which allows the boat to pivot on its own axis (already installed and wired).

This boat comes with 2 automotive fan motors for propoulsion (already installed).

It comes with 2 Raboesch 5 bladed propellers (already installed).

It comes with 2 steerable kort nozzles and shafts Which i havent installed.

It comes with a power distribution block from a model railroad which was meant for the lights (already installed).

It comes with an automotive windshield washer pump for the fire monitor (already installed).

It also includes a smoker unit from a model railroad for smokestack.

This boat comes with most of the small fittings which I made by hand (some of the railings, bollards, aft towing winch, forward windlass, fuel oil fills, locker, ventillators, roller, light mast, and many more.

I also made some of the lights (which i will include).

I will also include the plans that came with the boat which are in pretty poor shape because of time and use.

It also comes with a crudely made construction stand which I wll include.

The hull has been painted but there is a bit of damage in the paint on the portside starboard propshaft where the kort-nozzle strut had broken off but I reattached it.

I dont have a battery for this thing.

Like I said I had lost the time to complete it and hopefully whoever owns this thing next will finish what I started.

I can ship. Or pick-up is possible if you live in Seattle Area..

I am asking $600 for all or your best offer. Thank you! Enjoy!

My email is: ggghiapet@hotmail.com.

Are you interested in trading for a nitro truck? I traded it for a boat and I am just not in to trucks. It is in great shape. Comes with spare motor and a bunch of spare parts. All you need is a radio.

No thanks. Not really interested in trades. Thanks for the offer though.

If you have no luck here, you might try and place an add with the NW R/C Ship Modelers of Seattle, as there are always people looking for that model in our area. They will usally post it out on the mailing list to a few of us to see if we know of anyone else looking for one also.

Hmm... Good idea. I guess if all fails here I might try that. Tell me more about that. How would I go about that?

Go to www.shipmodelers.com for their web site. contact Mel or Gordy with your request and they will advise what can/will be done for a person. It might make the newsletter for October as i beleive Sept. has gone to print.
