At the AVTI field today... absolutely beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky, very little wind..
Tony Frackowiak was flying his eFlite Ultra Stick e25 ARF, with the eFlite 32BL motor... 2P3S battery.
Level flight speed works out to about 85 mph!

Interesting. You seem to be saying that in that very short distance covered in the pictures, there is a variation in the speed estimate which you based on pixel counts. Is this variation in estimated speed due to lens curvature, camera angle, or pixel miscount? Looks like you kept the plane pretty close to the center of the lens, possibly.

Yes... all of the above... and locating the precise points on the plane for each image is the biggest contributor.
I held the camera steady, didn't follow the plane at all. Otherwise the photo analysis gets more difficult, having to accomodate the motion of the background and the plane.
