If you mean new planes/kits, there are not all that many made actually.
If you mean used... maybe people fly them to death.

They come up from time to time, there was a nice deal on a F3D on EBAY a couple of weeks ago. Nice plane, MB Profi Motor, and servos went for just under $600 which was quite a deal.
I saw another Vendetta F3D on their a few months ago. Typically, most racers will sell their used racers to other racers, or new people in their area to stimulate racing. I've sold numberous quickies and even a Q40 to other locals just getting started.

That would be a Nelson Q40 that suffered a bent crank and a sanded front bearing. Everthing else seemed to OK.
The model was a Lyle Larson Dago Red. Loved it to pieces.... I got too close to another competitor and got vortexed going around 3 and poof the tail lifted up and down it went, at 170 MPH's
I replaced the 2 items and it sings along 22-23,000 RPM with a APC 7.4x7.8 carbon prop.
Here's a pic of bullet #2, same thing, another Dago.
Bought it used from a dude out west

Well, mulitply 369 x .6 and you get 221 MPH's
On my vid, Lee was trying to go low and fast, but you need to get off the ground first.
I must admit that video'ing pylon racing kinda loses something in the translation.
I going to duct tape the camera to my helmet next race and get some of racing action.

How many G's are applied on the structure during a race??

I believe, somewhere between 18 and 20+ some G's
It has been discussed on RCU by people who can do more than mulitply...
