**NEW** Ultrafly Hermes 25A & 35A Brushless ESCs

Includes a new governor mode program!

• Both feature a governor mode that is capable of higher current to drive the motor for faster acceleration. This maintains rotor speed when changing pitch while flying a helicopter.
• Extremely low resistance (Hermes-25 .0083 ohms, Hermes-35 .0048 ohms), with timing circuitry that allows them to be used with almost any motor.
• Both have dual BEC, which guards against the ESC shutting down from overheating.

Both ESCs can be programmed without the transmitter using the Hermes Programming Card! The Hermes Programming Card makes setting up all ESC functions push-button easy! Select from 4 motor timing modes, plus governor ON/OFF and slow start ON/OFF.

Retail Street
UFLM1307 Hermes 25A Brushless ESC $99.99 $79.99
UFLM1308 Hermes 35A Brushless ESC $119.99 $99.99
UFLM1298 Hermes Programming Card $11.99 $9.99

Any try this yet? I wonder if the auto timing mode is something similar to a Jazz ESC.

Hmmm.....have you clicked in that link? When I tried it I got something not realted to model planes at all. The "models" they feature are not the kind that you see flying around most model fields:)

I thought one of them would be a inexpensive way to get an ESC for 4 or more LiPo. But, I would want to turn off governor mode, slow start and for that you need a programming card. No programming cards in sight.

That site was built and maintained by Tower Hobbies/Hobbico. As the two <Ultrafly and the latter> have parted ways its pretty obvious what has happened here.

Gave me a good chuckle none the less. :D

All my best!

I actually ordered a couple of these from Tower and found, apparently, a source
of the programming card at http://www.ohyesrc.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=143&sort=20a&page=2&zenid=d8d93272533679d0734eb5ed251cecf2
selling at $4.18 a pop.

Just a word of caution, the site didn't have a definitive address except - Taipei, Taiwan (R.O.C.)OhYesRC Internet Shop, so just tried them with a minimal order for the programming card and small item and paid through paypal. While they do have some very attractive prices, they're seem to be very slow in confirming shipping the order with parcel tracking.

Wonder if anyone have had experience with this site?

No Worries, they are a fine on-line shop.

I appreciate the re-assurance Tommy. However, it's been more than a week from the time they've apparently shipped and their tracking number, up to now, doesn't even show in the postal system  . Don't mean to bash them and hopefully it's just a fluke in the system but we'll see how it goes. They're kind of slow too, in responding :( . Guess, its a waiting game?

I have ordered over $3000 of product from ohyes. The owner, James is dilligent and attentive to his customers. I wouldn't worry about it, I am sure it will show up soon. BTW, each time that I have ordered from ohyes I have received the product in less than a week, sometimes three days. I live in Canada, and it takes more than w week in some cases (tower hobbies) I have waited a month!

Hang in there and don't be afraid to e-mail james directly. I get an email response usually in less than 12 hrs....
