this is now the place to buy LittleScreamer motors!
Ta-Da!
...well, there it is. We're excited to announce that Hobby-Lobby is the new sole distributor for LittleScreamers. From this moment forward, the only way to come by one of our power houses of brushless power, is through the channels of Hobby-Lobby. With Hobby-Lobby's commanding presence in the retail of RC hobbies, we're excited for what this means for our company; to reach more pilots than previously possible, and turn them into happily screaming customers.
1000s of people already know what it's like to be a happy screaming customer and they spread the word. During those times when our ability to release product to the masses slowed, the demand never did. With a full production supply chain, and the heavy-weight retail forces of Hobby-Lobby, we're pleased that a solid path for our motors to get in the hands of end customers is now in place.
The road to this point was not easy, but it's great that the process is finally complete, and the wheels of motion can start turning in earnest.
Some thanks...
Bob Vincent (Rvincent) For all his hard work in the R&D department and the great developments that have kept LittleScreamers at the top of micro brushless technology. His countless hours and tireless attitude have contributed greatly to the growth and success of LittleScreamers.
To RCGroups.com, the formidable online RC community through which LittleScreamers found its first customers, but more importantly a wonderful collection of friends and peers. An excellent environment to participate, learn, and interact with the RC community at large. Feel free to stop by and say hi.
Thanks
Scott & Bob

Patience.....patience.... There's an hourly sale going on, and only one of their webmasters is running the show (mind you, he's usually on night-shift). Give them a little time to get things updated.

Luke,
Thanks for asking. Yes they will be the same names and the Speed Scream and Jet Scream will be available sometime in or about mid October. All motors will also now be strictly metal construction for ease of assembly at the factory.

Will they be available without the prop saver?
rvincent
Aug 16, 2006, 08:25 PM
We added 4mm to the shaft length. So you can use them both ways. If you choose to not use the prop saver feature, you can remove the 4-40 machine screws, and replace them with the supplied 4-40 set screws. The Park Jet motors will come with set screws in place and the machine screws will be in the package. This will also make it easier to replace bent shafts after a crash. All motors will have 3mm diameter x 40mm long shafts.

So the shaft wont be such a snug fit as the original screamers?
rvincent
Aug 17, 2006, 12:56 AM
What do you mean "snug fit" ?? It will press in easily, but not fall through if that's what you mean?

So the shaft wont be such a snug fit as the original screamers?
Nothing has change as far as the prop-saver. We just added a few mm to the length of the shaft for people to be able to use lock on prop adapters. Still the same snug fit as always:D

Hand fed with a light tap of whatever you have in the field box would be ideal when the shafts bend at the flying field. If I do a bit of a drive for a fly in, I dont want to cut my flying time short if that was the motor of choice for the day.

I could of course try a round file out, I do like the option of using grub screws.
