Anyone here tried a flying wing as a UAV. Or know off the top of their head what problems you would run into when making one?

BTW im looking for a wing that can fly fast around 100mph but can also loiter while not using a lot of energy.
thanks for anyone that can help

Yaw stability is the first thing that comes to my mind. Maybe more will come to mind once I've had some sleep.

There are quite a few flying wing UAVs out there: the Dragon Eye, Dragon Drone, the Scan Eagle, the Procerus Unicorn and the Inventus just to name a few from the top of my head.
A properly designed wing should not have any major issues vs. a conventional aircraft. My biggest issue with wings is that you generally have a lower maximum lift coefficient due to the need to have a zero pitching moment for stability, i.e. reflex or lots of twist. But, add some additional wing area and you can make up for this. Also, with an autopilot you can relax the stability by moving the CG aft and get a little more aero performance at the expense of not being able to fly it manually.
Everythings a trade off in aero design! That's part of the fun.

We have no problems with ours. Less complications than conventional and can get it and get out of pretty small areas.

yeah i saw that when i was searching. Im just not sure a wing will provide the longevity that i want. it seems like the need a lot of power to stay aloft.
