I'm getting set up to fly Club 40 pylon races and I could use some suggestions as to which prop would be best for an LA 40 for speed. We are using the World Models Sky Raider.

An LA40 is hardly the choice for club40 pylon unless you have a one engine formula your going to be backing up the field with than one.

Sky raider... kind of a draggy model. You don't want a true racing prop. (8X8, 8X7...)
You should go ahead and start with the typical 10X6. You may find that the ability to hold speed in the pylon turns by using 11X5 is better than the top speed in the straights given with the 10X6.
since its a one-ARF race... easy to believe its a one engine race.

I should have mentioned that everyone is using the same plane and engine.

Then may I suggest to make things even more even that you should all use the smae proppelor then and the same fuel. I agree with the 10x6 11x5 options.

Well... I think the same fuel rule WOULD be appropriate. But same prop.... that affects flying style, and if all use the same fuel... prop choice will only really affet if they do better n the straights or the turns.
It will eventually gravitate to the prop (and other "tweaks") the consistant winner uses.
Note that even servo choice can matter in one-design racing... every gram you save is speed. Others using all "standard" servos... microservo for throttle saves almost an ounce.
Use a smaller battery pack and swap batteries every flight... can save more than an ounce.....
You'll need people to customize thier plane's color schemes some to be able to run the race.... lightening holes in the tailplanes when you recover "for color".... Less nose weight needed.. large potential weight saving.
Initial races will be pilot skill vs good setup. After they all are flying essentially duplicates... its all skill.
