Hi,
From "eyballing" the Skyliner JR freeflight the wing appears to have a thickness of around 2 - 4% ( 1 - 2/16 thick versus 3" root chord), and a camber of around 2%.
With those guesstimates, I ran DesignFoil, it predicts a CLMax of around 1.068 at 8deg aoa.
Do these numbers sound reasonable?
I'm going to try converting it to RC, using some ..ahem rather oversized equipment (it's what I've got handy ;), the RTF weight looks like it's gonna be around 5 oz .. which looks like it's going to be a rather sporty 18mph stall speed ;) (54 in wing area .. 13oz/ft^2).
I'm hoping to pick up the RFFS sometime this week which should cut the stall speed in half ;)
Mike
