Check this out - www.jakkspacific.com/xpv. It's a new radio control by JAKKS, a toy company. The link has a video - check out the height and speed!

I can't get the link to open but a search found that Hasbro is making a strong comback into the RC market this fall and will be creating a new department at places like WalMart for radio control. http://go.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?storyID=12817609

Wow, the 'official' hydrofoam toy (the stormlauncher) has just been announced and already another toy company is launching a competitor.

It's a shame they do so by creating a new account and posting the same thing in three different forums though, instead of introducing themselves and offering support and information.

Here's the deal with the new XPV from JAKKS. It offers great performance and hobby grade features minus the steep hobby price point. Plus, it's going to be available at all mass retailers - easy for anyone to get. The XPV has enough power to launch from the ground or by hand and it can drive on the ground at speeds of 20 mph and fly over 20 stories high. Not bad for $60!

An official review is coming from a reviewer at RCGroups and THAT will be the official intro. This is just to let you know that this product is out there - so watch out for it!

True enough Robin, whenever a fanfare post like this appears, announcing a new product in glowing terms, I take notice of the RC Groups "join date".
Not that there's anything unethical about joining for the purpose of getting FREE advertising space and market exposure, mind you!
