I wonder if one could connect to atmel cpu in ICE and read/modify its firmware.
The connector inside seems to be ISP,.. Do anyone know the pinout of the two inside connectors J2 and J4 inside ICE? I guess that 3pin J2 could be TTL PC output, but I am just guessing yet.

The primary reason is to add charge voltage for A123 LiFe cells that are to be charged to 3.6V / 3.65V maximum (3.3V nominal). Old LiIon 4.1V max (3.6V nominal) mode could be just replaced with different voltage, imo..
Thanks for any infos.

Physically connecting for ISP would probably be fairly easy. The main problem would be that most manufacturers set the security fuses so that you can not read the program. Even if they did not set the security fuses, you would still have to disassemble enough of the program to find out how they are setting the charge voltage which would not be a trivial exercise.
