To Barrett...Examples of the 'Divide' command...

I also posted this in the other discussion about this topic... But in case you dont see that here it is.

Well Roger this is very close to what i want to do....
I opened the shape that ive been working on and did the divide command and all work well. then i deleted the old polyline and just the points were left. I specified 100 points and they were all there. However when i opened the shape in Profscan nothing happened. All i got was a blank screen. Maybe this happened because there are no lines connecting the points in autocad when i saved the shape after doing the divide command. There has got to be a way that i can just specify the amount of points that make up a polyline, right?

Or after i do the divide command, can i just use a certain funtion to draw the line back?
