I think the reef racer is more hobby grade then the zig zag, also Iver heard more on the reef racer then so of the zig zag racer.

JBiker,

Sorry for my confusion, but are you saying the reef racer is a better quality boat than the zig zag ? I have tried to read and search some threads but nothing has been difinitive about preference one way or the other.

I am surprised more posters have not chimed in.

Thanks for the reply

The Reef Racer2 is better with it's sealed compartments and water cooled motor.

Good Luck...they just did a review here

I own the zig zag 2 and I love it. I am also looking at getting the reef racer 2 as well, so I can see which is the fastest.

CONSIDER THE MEGATECH H2O PRO RACER!

This little guy is smaller and features trim tabs. The manufacturer states that it can reach speeds of 15mph.

15mph with a speed 280? Hmmm what would it do with a brushless 400?

Tom,

I look forward to racing!

Great video.

These fast little boats are so much fun. Sometimes I think they are more fun than my "big" RC boats.
