The weather was bad in Toronto. Rain, heat and thunder storm.
Out of bordom, I went to the basement and look for things to do. I saw some foam and a pair of GWS floats...
I cut s flat pieces of foam and epoxy it onto a pair of GWS float.
Then I put a differential-steering ESC/RX with 2 280 motor direct-driving 3x2 prop. Powered by 6cell NiMH, 600mA.
2 hours later I had my first boat -- BlueWave.
It runs on my carpet and can turn on s dime due to thrust line very clode to CG.
Off the a nearby pond. It was about 10mph wind. It runs good on water and even want to get on step! Since there is no rudder or any "directional fins", BlueWavr likes to change course when confronted by waves.
This boat may look very ugly but it sure make me laugth.
