Hey

Thinking about getting the fma coplilot, figure it can help me to fly 4 channel planes and be used for uavs. Anyway, just wondering if it will work with my hitec HFD-08RO reciever?

Thanks

Joe,
I have used the CoPilot on several RX's including some non standard ones. I have not had a problem to date. According to this page (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXKLF6&P=7) on Tower's web site it is "Compatable with JR, Futaba, Airtronics, Hitec radio equipment". If you are flying electric keep in mind the CoPilot draws power from your BEC through the RX.

The only problem I'm aware of in interfacing a co-pilot with a receiver is with the Futaba PCm computerized ones. Like my R148DP etc. There is a work around though so if you run into trouble check back here for advice. You should be good with your unit though.
