Seems like it s just one burnt out fet to me, Landed in the morning on wet grass and it got a drop in the ESC. I'm sure these can be replaced but where to get them? Anyone on here have 1 or 2 they can sell me so I can give it a try? Or can someone fix it? Name your price. It's a TP 30A btw.
Thanks Mo.

I did that to a chip with a heatsink a while ago, something ws wrong with it, and when I removed the heatsink, the top of the IC cover came with it!!
Not really on topic, but close :-)

Digikey sells both the 4410 and 4435 for about $1 each, but shipping and handling will add up.

Just search for SI4410 and SI4435. You want the "cut tape" parts.

Mouser has no minimum order and no handling fees, and their part prices are usually close or lower than Digikey. They also have several shipping options including first class mail. www.mouser.com

Well I was happy for about 10 secs. I pulled one off on aonther that blew up and everything looked good!, Put a motor to it and plug it in... armed and throttled up nice and slow. The mot rworked great I was so proud of myself ;) then it just stoped no smoke, no nothing. I unpluged and re tested with diffrent everything else. (battery,2 and 3 cell, RX, TX, motor, and servo's) Same thing powers up, arms, servos work, no motor functions. I can change the brake on and off and can tell when the brake is on but the motor will no spin, nothing is getting hot or even warm. Sigh any ideas of what to meter?

Chances are good the bottom of a fet driver is shot. That would let the fet gate be charged, but not discharged. Then when the commutation swings around, that fet is still on and the one above or below it comes on = pop.
If that's the case it may still whine as it tried to start but won't move.

If it's this ESC that you are talking about, why not just buy a new one. It seems pretty inexpensive to me. I have access to SMD rework station, but even if I do make the repair for you for free, it would probably cost you more on the parts and all the shipping for sending ESC back and forth.
