don't even bother with it until Hacker figures out the software. The governer mode takes over a minute to spool up the helicopter and is about 10% slower headspeed than non-gov mode.
Since I had no luck at all with gov mode I decided I'd try normal mode and run a linear throttle curve. Whoa! the kick on startup was so violent it wrapped the Logo10 around itself in about 2 nanoseconds and stripped themain gear, bent flybar and tipped over. I was in slow acceleration mode. In fact there is no difference at between slow, medium and high. The kick is just as violent.
you can't even program soft start, timing, frequency, gov mode settings without the USB interface. No biggie there as it's only about $15 for the interface.
This ESC is airplane only. Maybe once they get the software figured out it'll work for heli's but intil such time use this at your own risk.
How 'bout it Hacker? when do you think a new software version will be available and fix these issues so I'm not stuck with an ESC that will just sit here collecting dust?
