had a little crash and broke the wiring of the motor :S

so what i would like to do now is rewire it for a smaller prop, like a 6x4 but increase the kv from the standard 1750 to around 2500-3000
i was thinking of using triple 24 gauge in star formation with 12 or 13 turns. i have rewired another one with double 24 gauge with 15 turns also in a star formation but dont notice that much ,if any, of a power increase ( ihave just got my digital scale so going to do some thrust tests)

what other wire could i use to get maximum kv ? i will be using 3s lipo's

At the moment your motor is 21t delta/1.73 =12.38T star. you need less turn. between 8 and 9. Star. of the wire more thick than you can. 15-16T Delta no.22g can be good.

The Kv of your motor is inversely proportional to the turns, or to put it another way, if you use half the turns, you double the Kv. Switching from wye to delta increases the Kv by a factor of 1.732 (the square root of 3).

Remember, more turns = lower Kv, fewer turns = higher Kv.
Delta= higher Kv, wye = lower Kv.
