Sorry guys, that info was incorrect. The 2.4ghz is slated for the Hitec radios by the end of the year and we have no info on availablity for the EVO. Most likely it will come next year, but I cannot say for sure.

Sorry again. :(

Mike.

So, will it not be compatible with the EVO line? :( It maybe time to sell the EVO 12, how disappointing.

Don't everyone answer at once...

In the future, will there be an EVO 2.4GHz module out or not?

There's supposed to be a third party 2.4 ghz module for that radio coming someday. It may have to use the trainer port though.

I have no info on a 2.4ghz upgrade for the Evo at this time. That's not to say there there will not be one; it's just there is no info to release at this time.

Wow, you prefer a DX-7 over an Evo? Hmm.

I don’t think the Evo manufacturer will offer a 2.4 GHz module since so few are sold in the U.S.

When I fly at the club field, I look at the frequency board and do a scan. I usually select lucky 13 with no problems.

As a proud user of an Evo 12 synth and a Profi 4000, I can’t imagine going back to the asian radios, or their software.

Woops, sorry guys, I posted this in the wrong thread. My apologies.

Please note that the Hitec/Multiplex forum is here to help our customers with questions and answers. If you wish to voice your opinions on a particular subject that is not a direct question or if you are attempting to promote another manufacturers product and/or put down one of our products then please use an open forum, not this one.

Thank you.
