It's been a long time since I last flew a RC model. Back in 1980 I was very much into designing and flying slope gliders. Then I quited the hobby and started flying ultralights. I also logged some hours on glow trainers before I changed interests. Now I want to come back to fly the new generation of electric park flyers. They recommended me RealFlight G3 at my local hobby shop and I have to say I am having a blast. I've been practicing with a couple of electrics, the BLT Park Fyier and the Fundango on a customized airport that I designed resembling the restricted area I intent to fly in. I have been able to experience how these two planes behave in ermy field, and I must say I feel the SIM is a great help for these two models fly very differently. I've crashed them both experimenting different maneuvers and patterns and now I feel a lot more confident. I think this process is going to have a positive impact in my real flying by the time I finish building my models and get to fly them.
Cheers.
