View Full Version : For Sale /or >TRADE< Lots of stuff= no living-space (want some more rc/robotic things though)

I want/willing to trade for or buy:

Microcontrollers, kits for them, anything along those lines
things related to rc flight (planes, helis, and the more micro- the better)
uhm... gadgets? I really can't think of anything that can't fit into the above

I'm constantly hacking/modding electronics and building all sorts of other things like gadgets/gizmos, and often try and combine those two and create useful items. I have yet to own or do anything with programming PIC chips and whatnot. I've needed to have a microcontroller(s) so many times, for so many things, that I am constantly looking into buying one. However seeing as to I would be a beginner with it, I'd most likely need a kit, and those have all so far been a little pricey for my liking. My biggest desire for one, would be building robots/robotic things which have many options for controlling multiple motors/servos/etc.. and such, though I also would like to sometime get a nice lightweight system for use in rc flight.

I am really willing to buy if price is right, but I have so many unused fairly newer model electronics ranging from just about everything, that I'd love to trade if anything.

I have multiple car stereos (most are 2000-2005 models and the others aren't far from that. more than half have built in amps and graphic displays)

I have a gameboy advance still in the box

A psp I bought just for hacks/mods but firmware on it has to be downgraded to do so, so it hasn't been used yet (though I stiil want to use it at some point, I'de be willing to sell/trade if the offer could prove to be more use to me)

I have a stack of expensive(when they came out about 2-3 years ago) P4HT mother boards for making a custom pc (buddy owed me and gave me those as payment, but I never used 'em)

theres 1 5disc, 1 6disc, and 1 10disc car cd changers

theres a couple amplifiers

car speakers

tons of computer parts (AGP cards - dual moniter cards, tons of older & newer agp/pci video.audio,firewire.etc... cards)
-stack of crt monitors I don't want (take up too much space IMO, I just use
flat ones -lcd-)
-& there's a couple of pc cases (not fancy modder ones, just old and new
models that have been used for their components, and/or 1 or 2 have most
components in them but either because of that or some other minor issue,
someone gave it to me) though I do have a wheeled cube shaped one
that's for a custom pc-- lots of room in it

pc devices (keyboards, trackball mice, a cam or 2, IDK I can't think of it all right now, just ask if there's sumthing ur trying to find)
got a few digital cams (most aren't extremely fancy-shmancy or have that high of megapixels)

pc kvm switches or ports to connect multiple pc's all to be controlled via 1 mouse& keyboard & a single monitor

? iMac g3? (grape) clear purple all in one crt computer (1 older & one newer w/ slot-loading drive and lighter purple color)

TONS OF TOYS (just ask if there's anything ur looking for in particular)

DVD players

tv receivers

1 or 2 tvs

I have a Fender Stratocaster black&white electric guitar w/ hard case, I bought it from someone and didn't realize until after, it's a Left handed 1

a couple different pocket digital voice recorders

older pc speakers

There's a bunch of other stuff I can't think of right now (or see from where I'm sitting :p) but I've far to many things I have accumulated from people that I know selling/trading to me for a deal I obviously couldn't pass up-- planning to sell eventually on ebaY. Problem is though, now there is so much stuff, that I'm lacking a bit in the $ department, and living space is virtually inexistent!

I am willing to sell/trade any of this if the price/deal is right (because most of it though not needed horribly, I wouldn't mind having when i move into a new place, so some of it I need to be convinced to sell trade, by a good offer or maybe u have something u don't, but I consider to be of more value to me. (how do u think I got all this :p ) I love the deals where everyone walks away a winner, especially when each party walks away feeling as if they got a better deal, just because each one had something of no use to themselves, but highly desired/needed/wanted that other party's item & vise-versa
I hate being a pack rat, but " I could use these at some point or another!" ;) :p

ALSO, if u see nothing that interests u, ask me about it and I might have a buddy who's got what ur lookin' for :)

PM or what_ev'

-(v)att-

(I will eventually take pics when about to sell on ebaY, but if ur dying to see something, I guess it wouldn't really be a problem if u are really thinking of taking it off my hands)

Im looking for two identical motor controllers that can handle 2 amps a piece at 12V. Need them to be either PWM or serial input. Also could use some proximity based sensors such as IR or ultrasonic. Heres what I have to trade:

-lots of recharable batteries, just ask(except no AAs)
-polycrystaline solar cells ~.5x1.5 in. (24)
-some jusk servos, standard and micro
-larger 40pin PICs
-about 15 pounds of random DC motors

OK ETHAN HUNT, ;)
Mission:Probable

briefing:

1- what are u planning on using motor controllers for (will give me a better idea on what ur looking for/ what I got)

2- I have two garage ultrasonic detectors (1 in box) they are a 3-light R/Y/G stoplight configuration, and u can park where u fell best fit, (mount the thing in front of hood) then press a button to set the range ur car is from it, then next time u are pulling in, it turns from green to yellow and then to red when u are at that spot (I of course was going to use these for robotic purposes BUT LACK THE BRAINS FOR ANY ROBOT  )
I actually have quite a few different proximity/range devices....
I have a "spy" kit that's perfect for the Ethan Hunt type... instead of breaking a vase in a cloth and spreading broken glass outside ur door, I have a thing that has 3 individual wireless motion sensors, and though they themselves are for motion & not proximity, the base/box they store in has a screen in which u can draw a crude plan and mark out which sensor is where (they are marked 1-2-or 3 on them) and when one detects motion, the base lights that one up on the screen and tells u an alert (sound can switch off.

I think I might have a wireless mic
I have 3 of the same wireless infrared headphones each with their own transmitter tower..
and could you describe what the Dishpro LNB or a Dish switch is exactly (I think I have 1 or 2 satellite receivers if that what u mean)

The LNB's are the concentrators you see in front of the satellite dishes. The newer type from Dish Network is Dishpro, which has built-in switch.

The switch is used to combine signal from many LNB's and feeds it into 1 or 2 receivers.

Also, I could be intersted in a set of wireless headphones. What make? And are they full padded or the lightweight versions?
Thanks!

when u say 'component' speakers, I think of in-home/theater type speakers, but thats just 'cause I rarely hear car speakers referred to as that. Though however, I'm pretty sure ur talkin' car amps, but either way, I got em'. I'll have to check to see which one has what # of channels, but before I do that, is there a range of how many watts u are after?

what else do u have 4 the psp

As I said, I didn't really buy it for gaming, just for modding /hacking/ then free gaming ;) :p , and since I haven't done anything yet, It looks as though it's never been toughed (cause it really hasn't been)>> So in other words, I've NO games/nor movies, just a padded case, charger, 3d viewer add-on (for the MGS acid game, just have it for some 3d pictures I made just to use it) default psp Memory Stick card, and a sealed in package 64mb Pro Due card (though I dunno if I want to give that up yet)

I can use two of the P4 boards, and possibly a KVM switch if the price is right.
