Tullahoma, Tn Fall Soaring Contest

The Tullahoma, Tn Coffee Airfoilers announce the Fall RC Soaring Contest for Unlimited and RES sailplanes September 16/17 at the club field with pilots meeting scheduled for 9:00 am. The format will be Seeded Man-on-Man with LSF1 and LSF 2 landing (15, 30 points). RES rounds alternate with Unlimited rounds (i.e. one round of RES, one round of Unlimited, etc.) Entry fee of $10 per class per day. Awards:

We had two perfect weather days of flying (and even without Gordy). We flew 5 (10 minute )rounds of seeded man on man Saturday and 4 (10 minute) rounds today. Landing were 30 and 15 points. Some groups made their times easy and some groups really worked for what they could get.. Randy Cronic of the Atlanta group won overall by 112 points but it was down to the last flight of the day between Randy and Kendell McDonald.
Special thanks to the Tullahoma crowd for al the hard work this weekend.
