Just a sneak peek of the new intermediate sport/trainer from Airfoilz called the dart. This is a 40" wing span plane with dihedral. The plane is built and being test flown we are expecting to make it available by the end of this month. It's being flown with a Hacker 20-20L and Apex 1350 lipos.

No this is another plane, that plane this plane is being pushed ahead of that one, this plane comes in 2 versions, one with dihedral and one straight wing.

I like the way it looks! Nice styling. I would like to see you offer a mod or extra parts to allow for geared inrunners. A sport plane like this would benefit from the flexibility of speed and thrust that a geared set-up can give. As an example.... make a stick mount that will fit my mega 4 turn and Cobri gearbox :). I'd be happy to tell you how it goes.
Cheers, N_G

I think that is a great idea for this plane and we will include a mod to do that, that will make the plane appeal to more people who have geared motors laying around.

I flew the Dart for the first time and all I can say is WOW another great design by Jim. The planes was so much fun to fly, does great axial rolls, snaps were on the money and stops as soon as you neutral the sticks. Inverted flight was a breeze and rolling circles were for some reason easy for me to do on this plane than others. Loops and hamer heads were smooth and pretty to watch. Landing was so slow I had no problem landing it at my feet, for a sweet 3 point landing! It's a fun to fly plane even with dihedral.
