Hello Israeli Ezoners.

Last year I built a 40" Piper Super Cub modelled after an Israeli example.

I'm very happy with the plane, but I now want to build it as an 80" plane, as a project next winter.

This time I really want to do as good a job as possible in scale detail. Is it possible to get better photos of detail and lettering of the real plane?

Why not contact the Israeli Air-Force museum? The PR Telefax is +972-8-9907061 - I'm sure they can help. If they don't, call the manager directly: His name is Jacob Turner - +972-8-9906888

Hi Michael,

There is a fledgling scale forum in Israel http://212.150.52.102/, where the members are helpful and knowledgeable, if you speak Hebrew try to post your question there.

If not, I can post a link to your question, hopefully someone will help.

BRgds, Yossi

I did Ezer Weizman's 1948 Spitfire instead.

Hello !
I can get you pictures of civilian Cubs formerly used by the IAF and now
operating for the Israel Gliding Club or used for banner towing.
To get up close pictures from the IAF museum, it might take some time but
it could be arranged.

Sweet Spitfire, is it based on the GWS foam model?

It's a Flying Styro model.
